ABOUT ME
Hello! I'm Troy Hill and I'm a multimedia storyteller at The Society of St. Vincent de Paul Phoenix. I recently received my bachelor's in Journalism at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communications, and previously, I was a storyteller at the ASU Lodestar Center for Philanthropy and Nonprofit Innovation. I've interned at AZ Big Media and worked with The State Press, Portraits Magazine, Arizona Jewish News and Arizona Jewish Life.
In my free time I enjoy watching films, visiting art galleries and museums, writing stories and reading.

Managed a growing social media platform, wrote in-depth articles about vulnerable people that we helped, captured high quality images for company website and publications, managed several emails that were regularly sent to more than 100,000 people, and created high-quality video projects shown at large events and supported fundraising campaigns.

Reported, wrote and photographed news stories, including contributions to the money, politics and sustainability sections. Collaborated regularly with broadcast students and colleagues, pitched original story ideas to editors and advised on photo editing. My stories and photos are syndicated to news organizations around the state and Southwest region.

I shot photos for news stories and created photo essays through original reporting and interviews. I also gathered audio clips for publication. In addition to news photos and portraits, I also created stock photos and photo illustrations. I regularly teamed up with broadcast, digital and audio reporters and also tackled assignments solo.
